There will be a Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Village Board Room, 21 North St., Walton, NY to hear requests for the following:
91 North St. – replace existing residential garage which does not comply with 10 feet side yard and 25 feet rear yard requirements.
56 Delaware St. – construct an automotive garage on a vacant lot. Plans do not comply with business district yard requirements.
68 West St.– construct a new porch which does not comply with the rear yard requirements.
The Village of Walton is currently seeking lateral transfers and provisional appointments for a
full-time NYS certified police officer. Qualified applicants must be disciplined, able to work well
with others, and have a good work ethic. The 2024 salary range will be between $57,900 – $66,500
based on years of experience and will increase annually by union contract. The Village offers a
