A Seal of Pride: Walton’s New Emblem Unveiled

With overwhelming support from our residents, Walton proudly reveals its new village seal—an emblem of heritage, unity, and forward momentum. Designed by our own Jamie Thomson, whose dedication to community was recently honored by WBNG Channel 12 News, the seal reflects the spirit of Walton in every line and curve.

Tuesday, November 4th, 2025

This is a summary of November 4th’s regular meeting. This is not an official set of minutes, but rather notes from the meeting to keep you all informed.

The status of the pool project was also discussed, with parts ordered and some work begun, although there has been no update from the contractor.

The booster club will assume responsibility for the football field project, and a contract will be signed and insurances rendered. The project to be gifted to the village upon completion.

A proposal was presented seeking support for a trap-neuter-release program for feral cats, with a request for an ordinance to assist. Tabled for further discussion.

Trustee reports were submitted with no notable updates.

Approval was given for the NY Forward grant/DRI submission, which will be submitted on November 7.
